Jobs are remote commands sent to a terminal for different purposes such as: force heavy check-in, fetch bugreport, force data sync, install app, uninstall app. Jobs can be sent to individual terminals, or to multiple ones at the same time.
Creating a terminal Job
Step 1: In the reseller portal page, go to Terminals tab.
Step 2: Search for specific terminal(s) by using any of the filters.
Step 3: Once a filter is applied and terminal is listed, select Create job.
Step 4: Choose your job type whether to a specific device or a list of them. Also, select expiration time ( 1 day, week or month). Description field is not required and from the function field drop down menu choose the desired one.
Step 5: Once done, click on Create terminal job. The job will be sent as a command to the specific terminal(s) immediately. The maintenance window time won't affect this process, since it will be starting at the moment you send it.
Note: Terminal must be connected to a network for a job command to go through successfully.
