Poynt Processing is now GoDaddy Payments

Now that Poynt is part of the GoDaddy family, Poynt Processing merchants will see a new name in their bank statements.  Previously, payouts transferred from Poynt transactions were labeled as “POYNT CO DEP <MM/DD>”.  Starting May 19, 2021, these payouts will be labeled as “GoDaddy Payments DEP <MM/DD>”.

This change will affect your end customers as well. They will now see “GDP* <merchant_name>”, on their credit card/bank statements, as opposed to “PNT* <merchant_name>”.
