What do the LED lights indicate on Poynt device?

Knowing the status of your Poynt is important, and different LED colors and pulses will indicate how your device is performing.

Here is a list of the expected functions of the Poynt and the corresponding color of the LED:

• Red/Orange LED: indicates critical low battery. A Blinking red light means the battery is very low, or an internal issue with the Poynt device. If the LED does not turn green after a significant amount of being on the docking station, please contact support for assistance.
• Yellow LED indicates: low battery
• Green LED indicates: significant battery
• Purple/White/ Blue LED indicates: device is booting. During the Hard Reset steps, the Poynt LED (either purple, white or blue) should turn off for the duration, then come back on after 10-15 seconds.
