Removing a SIM Card

• Removing SIM Card

Open the printer hatch door and lay the device on its side so that the left side of the second screen is flush with a level surface (see image below) 

• Older P61 SIM Card Slot Configuration

When removing the SIM card in the older P61s (pictured above left), you’ll need sharp needle-nose tweezers to carefully pull the card out. They do not have a push-in-bounce-out mechanism. Be careful not to damage the connector pins inside the slot.

• Newer P61 SIM Card Slot Configuration

The newer SIM card slots are equipped with a push-in-bounce-out mechanism. Because the card is very thin you might need to use the tweezers to push the SIM card in. 

Poynt C terminals

You can locate the slot at the right body side of the main screen you’ll need sharp needle-nose or a sim Card tool to extract the slot and insert the SIM card

Be very gentle with the SIM card as to not damage the connector pins in the slot.
