The Items Report further narrows the scope and shows you the type and number of items sold during the reporting period. Note that the Items report has been updated based on the feedback that we've received from our merchants.
In the reporting tab, choose the Items Report from the drop down menu and the date range you want. You can filter this further by terminal and employee. The default is across all terminals and employees.
Once the report is generated, it will appear in the Reports list on the right hand side of the screen.
The report is broken up in two sections: Summary and Item Details
The Summary shows you the total number of items sold, including any modifiers. It will also show any fees, discounts, and taxes applied to the specific item. In the example above, there were 3 Americanos sold, one of which had an extra charge due to a modifier. The cost associated with the extra shot is $7.00.
Looking at the next item, there were 3 coffees sold, one of which was a medium and cost an extra $4.00.
The remaining columns show the discounts, fees and taxes associated with each item. In this case, as none of them were applied to the catalog, there were no extra charges. The last column will highlight the total amount for each item sold, including all extra charges.
The Item Details lists each item and the date it was sold.
It will also include the taxes, fees and discounts, if applicable, on each item. The Grand Total column will calculate the final cost of the item based on the price and taxes, fees and discounts. The last column indicates if the item was paid, or is still pending.
