Messaging on Merchant HQ allows you to engage directly with your customers. This feature is now available for merchants on the Advanced and Premium plans, as well as to those using Poynt Processing.
During a customer's transaction, they have the choice to receive the receipt via Email or Text (SMS). When they receive their receipt, they can respond to engage in conversation with the Merchant.
You can view and interact with messages from your customers from the Messaging link in Poynt HQ.
Note: This functionality can only be used in response to the customer's message. Text and email receipts will not appear here without that initial customer reaching out.
Once the customer has reached out, you can continue the conversation by offering incentives for the customer to come back for more visits.
